Bayford Meadows Kart School
The Bayford Meadows Kart School is based at Bayford Meadows 1100 metre Motorsport UK/NKA licensed circuit in Sittingbourne, Kent. The circuit organises over four hundred events per year and caters for both the owner/driver and corporate market.
The Kart School has been set up to provide structured driver training and tuition to young people and adults alike. Its main aim is to provide training that will lead to the driver attaining the necessary standard to obtain an Motorsport UK competition licence, but is also suitable for current licence holders to improve their skills and for people that would simply like to take hire karting one step further.
The tuition is given by instructors who have been involved in karting for many years and who hold manufacturing, racing and competition experience. The tuition is done in small groups up to a maximum of four people enabling the driver to get the maximum attention from the instructors. Advice is also given on obtaining a licence, joining a club and attending a race meeting. All karts and equipment are supplied and karts used are competitition prepared karts that will suit the driver’s age and ability.

Castle Combe Circuit – Drive Tech LTDSchool
Drive-Tech Ltd who run Castle Combe Karting are based at the famous Castle Combe motor racing circuit near Chippenham in north Wiltshire. We have a purpose-built 350m track surfaced in the same SMA asphalt as used at Grand Prix tracks around the world. We run a junior racing school for drivers between the ages of 10 and 15 years, teaching drivers basic skills, racing lines, overtaking skills and practice races until they are a competent racer. Once a driver has completed our racing school they can then take part in our Championship races. The Castle Combe Junior Karting Championship (ages 10 -15) has some of the most intense races in the southwest. The Castle Combe Adult Karting Championship (anyone aged 15 or over) has become increasingly popular and is a cost effective way into competitive racing without any expensive outlay. Take your ARKS test with the school and move on to race competitively at Motorsport UK owner-driver level. ARKS tests can be done any day of the week subject to prior appointment.

Clay Pigeon – Lee Rennison Kart Racing School
The Lee Rennison Kart School is situated at the Clay Pigeon Raceway, one of Britain’s premier kart circuits. This recently formed ARKS recognised school has been set up to provide karting instruction and courses at the highest level from a- former British Champion. It aims to provide the first step on the ladder to Motorsport UK karting, from purchasing and maintaining your equipment, to preparing for your ARKS test and, finally, racing! We have access to classroom teaching, one-to-one tuition, spectator areas, fully prepared and stocked shop and the facility to hire all the necessary equipment, if required, for your ARKS test. Our equipment is fully race prepared, not de-tuned for the school, so it is the real thing for you to start on.

Protrain Academy
Protrain was one of the founding members of ARKS and the first company to offer professional driver training for kart drivers in this country. Protrain Karting Courses were first run in 1982, teaching kart drivers how to improve their driving techniques and kart set-up. Three Sisters Circuit

Now home of the Bill Sisley Kart School, the first kart racing school to be formed in the UK (1974) and a founder member of ARKS whose pupils include ex-Formula 1 driver Johnny Herbert, over 20 British, European and World Karting Champions and British Formula 1 drivers, offers structured schooling for Bambino (ages 6–7 years old), Cadet (8-11 years old) and Junior (12-15 years old). The school also organises regular races within its own karting club where all equipment is supplied. ARKS tests are undertaken throughout the year and 1-1 tuition is available for all ages.

Msport Kart School
Msport Karting has a history of training some of the best drivers in Karting. Lewis Hamilton worked with MSport’s owner Keiran Crawley through 1999-2000 and has since progressed to be a double F1 World Champion. More recently MSport driver Matthew Graham won both the FIA-CIK World U18 Title along with the CIK Asia-Pacific title racing under MSport Karting’s guidance. Our purpose built Kart Centre is situated just off the A303 West of Andover within the grounds of Thruxton Race Circuit.
We are Motorsport UK/NKA approved and cater Cadets ( from 8 years upward) Juniors and adults. We also offer exclusive corporate events.
ARKS tests are run on our National Circuit (900m) circuit. These need to be pre-booked on weekdays only. We offer applicants pre-test tuition/practice and if required we will supply all necessary equipment needed to take your test.

The Long Circuit School at Darley Moor Sports Centre is situated on the A515, 2 miles south of Ashbourne, Derbyshire and is sign posted off the junction of the A515 / A50. This is half way on the A50 between Junction 24 on the M1 & Junction 15 on the M6, post code DE6 2ET. The circuit is 1.5 miles in length and is well known as a venue for motorcycle road race meetings as well as long circuit Superkart race meetings. The school is the only one of its kind in the UK to offer the unique opportunity to try long circuit gearbox karting with a half day beginners course in one of the school’s 125cc gearbox karts. Full day ARKS courses are also available where you can have full tuition in long circuit kart racing techniques and take your ARKS test all in one day. On both courses we supply all the equipment required ( karts, helmets, leather race suits, gloves etc. ) We are an affiliated member of the Association of Racing Kart Schools and an Motorsport UK Recognised School. Anyone wishing to have tuition and take the test in their own kart may do so subject to the equipment to be used meeting current Motorsport UK regulations with regards to safety. Anyone planning to move directly to long circuit racing is strongly advised to take their test at Darley Moor, the test is also valid for all short circuit racing.
